Whats the best option to cut fabric without fraying the edges? What type of sewing machine is best to use for seaming the edges?
I print using the HP Latex 360
I'm running HP Latex 360 and I'm printing decals and stickers. Typically they're small stickers about 4" x 5". I print on two types of vinyl. Orajet 3651M and Ritrama high tack intermediate vinyl. When I use their official ICC profile I downloaded from their website I notice graininess and...
HP Latex 260 printer 61"
Great condition. Was not used much at all. It has been operated indoors only. Never outside or in a warehouse. Printer is in working condition and already has ink/printheads installed in it. You will get an additional full set of inks.
Comes with FREE full set of...
I keep trying to color calibrate my 70/30 one way vision perforated vinyl. It prints the scanning pattern and once it finishes drying, it begins to scan. Soon after it just give me an error message "color calibration cancelled due to scanning problems" (pictures attached).
Why is this...
I use an HP L360 and Graphtec Fc8600 using Onyx 18.
My question is regarding how to set up for print and cut on the Graphtec?
How do I position the pinch rollers, where do I move the blade to? Do I press "set origin"?
I'm asking these questions because when I send to cut the first 2 or 3...
Why does my Graphtec plotter say "off scale" but still ends up cutting my jobs? The cuts are ok. No major skewing.
Side note: where am I supposed to position my blade? Inside the box or at the edge?
Pictures attached.
We all know HP will no longer make inks for the HP Latex 260. I am so angry especially since it is a great printer!! What am I supposed to do with this printer? Use it as a coffee table?
Question, I know on eBay you can buy 3rd party inks, but what about 3rd party printheads?
I had a smaller Graphtec before I would change the force in the middle of cutting, simply by pressing "Condition" on the plotter. Easy. Now with my FC 8600, when I press condition while it's cutting, nothing happens. Why??
I see all these companies coming out with die-cut stickers and decals, like sticker app, Vinyl Bandits, Rockin' Stickers, etc.
What material are they using? Maybe something that doesn't have curl. The media I have tends to curl on the edges after a while.
I have an HP Latex 360 and a Canon...
I use to be able to import OML files into Onyx and once that was done, my HP Latex 360 printer would upload it onto the printer automatically. But yesterday I started getting a message pop up saying...
These are the instructions I follow for OML files. I can no longer reach to step 4. Onyx...
I am doing a partial wrap on the sides of a van and wanted to do a contour cut. It's not a complex CutContour, but it is about 123" long. Can my Graphtec FC8600 handle this job? I'm printing on a 54" roll, wish I can print side by side, but I cannot. Pictures attached.
It's so odd. I pass everything in the connectivity test, except verifying the time/date. Any suggestions why?
FYI, I do have a VERY old firmware. Not sure if this is an issue. Don't ask me to update the firmware. I can't jump from a very old firmware to the most current.
Anyway here is...
I recently got this message when I fired up my Onyx Postershop 12. "Network I/O is limited. Anti-virus software may be blocking access. Other network problems may exist." I don't know if this contributes to my jobs being cancelled in the middle of printing. It's kinda weird, because it only...
All of a sudden, I started getting wet spots on my prints. Doesn't matter what material I use. It looks like it's always in the same area...towards the right of the printer (if you're looking at printer). See picture.
I noticed when I sent jobs to print on my Onyx 12 it ripped within seconds. It would automatically start printing. It was awesome. But now that I upgraded to 18, the ripping/rendering time is long. Why is this?
I'm printing on a HP Latex 360
I am connected to the internet. I have tried updating the firmware manually and through the printers screen. I just can't seem to update my HP Latex 360 to the latest firmware update which is NEXUS_01_14_00.5
I have version NEXUS_00_06_02.10 installed currently. I get "The Firmware update...
Every time I load a roll, my Onyx RIP synchronizes with the printer with the correct media type, but NOT the size. I loaded a 54" roll, and it says it is a 56" roll. Any ideas why it's doing this?
What's the difference between OML and OMS files? I exported all my media profiles from work and brought them home, but I keep getting "the file was faulty". The files are all OML. I am using HP Latex 360
I used the web embedded server and I keep getting "faulty file".
