    it doen't void the warranty of the printer...just everything the ink touches...ink lines, dampers, cap tops, heads and pumps. if the printers motor or mother board goes...then its still covered.

    not the room temperature...there are orange switches underneath the machine...did u check those? i know for a fact that i have printed under 68 degrees in the room with no problems

    never ever had to cover up any other holes. i have printed on as little as 6" and never had any issues. did u check the voltage switches?

    the only time i have ever seen this happen was when the heater switches on the botton of the machine were not set to the proper voltage. if you have an SP model of versacammm there are two heater swithes underneath the machine. they should be set to 115V, not 230V.
