  1. Issue with either Versaworks or Adobe Illustrator.

Thank you. I have been pulling out my hair trying to figure out what I was doing wrong.
  2. Issue with either Versaworks or Adobe Illustrator.

That definitely locks it in on VersaWorks. Thanks for your help. It did the same thing with JPG files a few months back. It would accept any jpgs before a certain date but would see anything newer as corrupted. I will reinstall.
  3. Issue with either Versaworks or Adobe Illustrator.

Versaworks is no longer seeing my cutlines on new files I make as of Wednesday. I am doing the same process I have done for a few years, but instead of seeing it as an instruction the software is only seeing a pink line. All my old files still work. I don't know if I accidentally flipped a...

Thanks everyone. I will look into new pans.
  5. Replacing a vacuum formed sign

A customer had asked about resurfacing a sign for a building they had purchased. They mentioned that the previous sign was lit, but didn't need theirs to be lit. When they dropped them off today I saw the print and graphics were raised, and I am guessing they are vacuum formed. Since it doesn't...
  6. Equipment Grants?

Most likely you will not find a grant to help you purchase equipment. When it comes to buying equipment like you mentioned, many small businesses don't have 5K-25K (or more) sitting in the bank to purchase something straight out. Most equipment companies can direct you to a lease to own...

    I understand. That makes sense.
  9. Question on backlit acrylic sign replacement

I was asked to replace the acrylic inserts in a church sign that has darkened over time due to sun exposer. I haven't done acrylic before and had considered printing and cutting out the church name and logo on my Roland eco-solvent printer and mounting to the external side of a sheet of white...

  11. Question Will 8 ft PVC sag over time?

Thanks. That is normally where I buy PVC, plus I don't have to worry about shipping costs.
  12. Question Will 8 ft PVC sag over time?

I am attaching a photo. They are wooden posts. He would prefer not to attach to the sign main sign and just have it attached to the side posts. I make signs for many of the vendors at different markets we set up at but it is not the main part of our business. Thus, any suggestions and advice...
  13. Question Will 8 ft PVC sag over time?

The plan is no cross supports. His preference it only be the sign that it only be attached on the sides. This would be a long term sign.
  14. Question Will 8 ft PVC sag over time?

I have a customer who wants 15"Tx8'W sign that will be suspended outdoors by the ends on two posts. Would 1/2" pvc sag over time or should it last? Is there a better choice of material? I will be eco-solvent printing onto adhesive vinyl and mounting to the preferred material.

  16. Need Help Recommendations for repairing a sign

  17. Need Help Recommendations for repairing a sign

  18. Need Help Adding logo to Awning with printed vinyl?

I didn't know about liquid laminate before. I will have to look into it. Thanks!
  19. Need Help Adding logo to Awning with printed vinyl?

The material is a heavy canvas, not sure beyond that. In the summer he keeps it up all the time. In the winter he normally brings it in. The market is only open once a week so during most of the winter it is only out on that day.
  20. Need Help Adding logo to Awning with printed vinyl?

I had a customer just ask if I could place a picture of a pretzel on his awning for better visibility at a farmers market. I have typically used Siser ColorPrint easy for shirts and even a few business tablecloths. I considered using that, but not sure how well it would last in full sunlight. I...
