Yes fuses are the likely culprit. And/or cables. If you have bent or broken a ribbon cable termination (very easily done) then this will cause the fuse to blow. Hopefully it has not taken out the main board.

Test the fuses on the main board first. One fuse protects two heads. The one protecting Y and K may be open.
