Gerber foil clutches are expensive Hi Fred, I talked to Gerber yesterday, the cost for the 2 clutches was $554.00 plus shipping. The LE is 15 years old, I'm going to think it over. JR.

Patio furniture covers work Hi Jake, I found covers for the Envision 375 at the local home improvement store. Look at patio furniture covers and barbeque covers.

Not all vinyl.... Sorry to say, I learned the hard way. Gerber 220 clear enamel receptive vinyl will be ruined by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol (it takes the receptive coating off and leaves a mark on the vinyl).

What Edge model are you using? What program are you using to print with? If you are using Omega, what version is it?

Buy a serial card Buy a add on serial card that fits an expansion slot on your computer. They are easy to find and set up.

Dealer wants to keep it around Roland makes dealers buy their own demo equipment. Once it is up and working the dealer would rather keep it as a demo machine as long as he can, especially if he would have to wait several weeks for a replacement. Brand new equipment is a better choice IMO.

Jobs Folder works the best For a week now I have been saving .plt files using the C: drive - main directory tree. The "Jobs" folder is there along other Omega folders. Save as and save has worked 98% of the time. I'm now convinced that the .plt files belong in the "Jobs folder". JR.:thumb:
