i'm guessing that this was not your original artwork? The only clean way to do it would be to print the bottom section of the sign and patch it. Patching it with laminate would be a good temporary patch at best. Good Luck!
It is kind of funny that there really isn't any verbiage online about storing plotters, mainly just printers. I would suggest keeping the storage time to a short period. I'm sure that the heat alone could wreak havoc on the digital display. Too much heat could also warp the ribbon and belt...
There are so many independent and "FREE" fonts online that it would be virtually impossible to get a font software match for all of them. I do recommend using:

I've had to deal with matching proprietary colors from quite a few clients. Lessons i've learned:
• CMYK is your friend with color builds
• Only about 30% of Pantone Colors even come close, depending on what media/profile combo you treat them with
• Greys/Grays (sp?) are the hardest to print.

We have solvent printed on 8510 without any issues. As far as laminate, I would suggest doing so out of sheer peace of mind. Harsh chemical cleaners wiped across the print could smear it even after it has properly cured. We pair it with Oraguard 290 M or G.
Right on! I did see the permanent 10pk on Amazon for like $17. I used the non-permanent on a few 20' drill patterns and the ink kept dropping out on the longer line runs. I'll give the permanent version a go! Thanks Bannertime! And Thank You for your Service!
Hey guys... We have a new Graphtec FC8600 and I can't stand the Lumocolor fine point markers that come with it. Does anyone have a better suggestion that will fit the standard holder? I know that they advertise a sharpie holder but am not trying to pay over $100 for it unless there is no better...
