  1. Versaworks - Stuck file - Crashing

It ended up being in AppDatas hidden folder, but the idea was right. Thanks!
  2. Versaworks - Stuck file - Crashing

I have 2 large files in my que A that completely crash/freeze Versaworks as soon as they're clicked, so I can't even delete them. Is there a way to clear the que cache or a work around to deleting the 2 files so they're no longer in que? Clicking them during a print completely crashes...
  3. Need Help SP540V - Printing Issue - Black lines

I got it to be a BIT better by re-aligning the heads manually. While it didn't solve the problem it did help band-aid the situation for that timeframe. I had a tech from All Graphics come by to service my XR640 and after going over my SP540 for a while it basically came down to the heads just...
  4. Roland XR-640 Perf Pressure During Job

That's what I wrote in my initial question. While its cutting you can adjust the perfcut by hitting Cut Config on the printer, but none of the changes take effect and when you change the pressure number, hit enter, then go back to the number its defaulted to whatever versaworks sent.
  5. Roland XR-640 Perf Pressure During Job

Yea, I do that, but what I'm asking is if I can change the perfcut pressure while cutting the job, just as you would with regular cutting.
  6. Roland XR-640 Perf Pressure During Job

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. You're saying set cut pressure first (which I do in on the physical printer), but then send the job without perf pressures set in VW?
  7. Roland XR-640 Perf Pressure During Job

Is there a way to change the perf cut pressure while in the middle of a job? I've tried in the cut config like a normal cut, but every-time I think I've set the pressure I go back and it's reset? During normal kiss-cut it will be, lets say, 80 and I can change that no problem. During the perf...
  8. XR640 - Catch Basin?

I recently picked up an XR640 and I've looked everywhere for any DIY setups, but I need some ideas on what I can make to keep the media off the floor (when not using the rollers). I do a ton of print/cut on some media that I'd like to not touch the floor. Just looking for some creative ideas...
  9. Roland SP540v Banding

Well with your help I've definitely gotten the prints better, so I appreciate that a ton. Maybe after these less important prints Im trying to get out I'll bite the bullet on 2 heads, will keep the thread updated for reference! Thanks again Zoogee.
  10. Roland SP540v Banding

Yea, see attached. One is around -0.15 and the other is +2.00.
  11. Roland SP540v Banding

Yea...what's more strange is the changes in calibration effect the Test Print, but not the actual graphic print? How does that work?
  12. Roland SP540v Banding

So, weird results here....see attached photos of the version and adjustment made to the Calibration. Nothing seems to change? From -2.00 all the way to +1.90...no change.
  13. Roland SP540v Banding

I mostly have print and dryer at 50, and it's definitely hot (physically). Trying another print now with the feed a bit tighter.
  14. Roland SP540v Banding

Sorry, what do you mean by "shows all the multiple different options"? Also, a huge huge thank you for all this tedious diag. help!
  15. Roland SP540v Banding

Also, I just did a little hunt for the specific Arlon profile for this media on the 540v, and tried it....it prints real bad lol. I'd say even worse than my originals on Generic Vinyl II.
  16. Roland SP540v Banding

I've tried heat settings from 0 to mid 40s to 50 (normally what its at) and all seems relatively the same.
  17. Roland SP540v Banding

Just tried uni-directional, looks the same pretty much (see attached). And yes, I have done a feed correction, however, now that you bring it up I almost feel as though something might be off with mine. A few posts up, in order to get the banding looking good I had to set it to +0.65. On the...
  18. Roland SP540v Banding

Just tried SG-G. I think I do like the way it looks better. I tried with the default 700 head speed (#1) and then 500 head speed (#2). The 500 seems to clean up the black edges a bit, but otherwise not too much of a difference. There is still some banding, in both, but the result is "tigther"...
  19. Roland SP540v Banding

On that Soutpoint logo these are what my quality settings are. I've almost always used Generic Vinyl II. I'll try the SG-G in a couple minutes, just running a cut right now.
  20. Roland SP540v Banding

Oh nice! I use Arlon-DPF4500GLX as my main white gloss adhesive stock.
