What printer do you have? I am not sure Versaworks 5.52 will work with the Roland Soljet III Pro XC540.....?

Is anyone running Versaworks 4.9 in Windows 11? I have a Roland XC 540 and had to upgrade my computer and the new computer has windows 11.... Is Versaworks going to work on it?

Say has anyone else had a roland machine say its out of a color yet you feel the cartridge and it still has ink in it? And not just a tinny bit but enough I would say to keep printing? I hate to change them and let all that ink go to waste! Any ideas? Thank you

I had the 4.4 software, I updated to the software you sent. Didn't change anything on reading the ink cartridge, but glad I have the newer software installed... as of now I'm running the cartridge even know it says its empty.. its heavier then my brand new 220 cartridge and way heavier then...

Thanks for all the info! So being there is alot of ink in the cartridge, you can feel the difference to a actual empty one, I have kept printing with it. The only warning I get is on Versa Works but I just keep hitting print anyways... I bet the cartridge is at least half full still, lots of...

I'm getting a few of my Roland Eco Sol Max cartridges saying they are empty yet when I remove them and feel the weigh you can tell there is lots of ink still in them! Anyone else run into this? Any solutions? Thanks

It's set at pre-press U.S. in versaWorks....... When I print the 100%k it looks nice, but seems thick? Is this normal for the XC-540? My VS-540 did not do that and i'm using the same file.. Is there a black you recommend? Or is this normal printing for this machine? The black just takes longer...

Thank you Jim for the advise. The heads were misaligned and going through all the settings got me printing with sharp lines again! Good thing i'm crafty when it comes to working on these machines. Was time consuming but well worth it.... Thanks again.

Well just a update on the machine, I received the service manual and set all the heads, did all the proper adjustments and it prints crisp lines! :) ...... The only question I have now is do these machines print a thicker black? My black seems raised up more then the other color? I tried...

I do not have the Service Manual, just the user manual. I see I can purchase a pdf version online.

Thanks for the info! I will put it in Service mode this afternoon and do the proper adjustments. I'm guessing the black head was never aligned when the other owner installed it. I do have the manual it came with and code to get it in service mode. I'm excited to get it up and printing good!

Both Bi-directional and horizontal are spot on. They only needed minor adjustments and even after that I'm getting these prints....

I was kinda think bad encoder strip since all the other test come out perfect ... will that solve the printing heavy black? The black is actually raised up it prints so much.. or is it just the fact the black is printing over the other color? Thanks for the help..
