  1. Roland SC545ex will versa-works tell me the ser. no. of print-head?

Hi all I have a Roland SC545ex I purchased with clogged dx4 heads. I cleaned the heads with a sonic cleaner using Branson EC Electronic Solution (circuit card sonic cleaning solution). Although it seems it was a success, the ser. no. was cleaned off. Will versa-works tell me the ser. no. of the...
  2. Maybe real business advice

I would be cautious with the legal aspect. In Texas I don’t think you can use text messages as a a legal document. I had clients that only wanted $1500 of work, and I like to think they were impressed with my work and gave me additional jobs. $15,000 later they wanted to argue on the price. I...

  4. Need Help One line of magenta stops working, strange issue

Inspect your flat cable (ribbon cable) for damage, when in doubt, switch it out. I got som cleaning fluid on the connector and it did all kinds of wonky things. Replaced $10 ribbon cable and used a little air to clean out a connector. Back in business. I read somewhere they are only designed to...
  5. CNC engraver would be best for flat glass and crystal engraving at a reasonable price?

Sandblasting also opens up other avenues such as cups, tumblers, leather, and many other substrates. I have 100 W laser with a rotary but I prefer the look of sandblasted. I use temp agencies. You can test drive the personalities without worrying about doing all the background checks, taxes, insurance, ect. If you find someone you really like, ask them to stay. I found a few good employees this way. I had one employee go off and make his own shop in a different...

Thank you, if I had another DX4 head that I knew was working I could troubleshoot that way unfortunately I would have to buy a new one which is 500 then the boards are anywhere from 500 to 1000. And I’m cautious to use eBay to get a used one. Thank you for your input though I appreciate it.
  14. SC545EX not printing at all.

I purchased a used Roland SC-545EX. I soaked the heads and used the syringe to push & pull cleaning solution several times increasing pressure over a week.
