I know this may seem like a newb question, but we've never had the problem before haha... anyway, we've been printing a bunch on the gerber edge2 and envision plotter, and on most of the thick material we are getting blade drag... Mostly from when it ends the cut job, it will not lift the blade...

I'd say you don't have enough graphics if you spend longer trying to kiss cut them instead of printing haha

it's just a doubled sided adhesive that is applied. More than surely they screen print or print in reverse on a thick clear.

it fixes it sometimes, but screws up the contour cutlines which is a spot color always. Also sometimes it messes with some of the artwork. I think in the larger sized ones.

yes pdfs. We print all vector therefore we wont resave it as a tiff.. is it something that has to do with spot colors?

cutting a 15 mil lam with 6 or 4 mil base here on a soljet. no problemo. and i dont mean to brag..:rock-n-roll: if full pressure isnt cutting through it, try a different (err i mean a NEW) sharper angle blade.
