I know this is a long shot, but I sure hope someone can help me. This is the only picture I can get. I know its super shitty, but hoping one of you font experts can help.
Thank you in advance!

Those are all extremely good points. I have had to leave in the past to get them to dentist appointments and doctor appointments, plus leaving work early to see their games or practices. Which Im very grateful Im able to do. I believe this entire thread got a bit sidetracked...I may have...
I think I'd rather die than wrap all day too!! When I started here, all I did was install. Now, I guess I am a manager. So I should change my question to "What are Managers worth"? It'd be interesting to check out Craigslist to see what is posted, and what the wages are. Thank you!
Covered angles are a very good idea! When I started here 12 years ago, I brought my plotter here and it works everyday at the shop. My girls are 18, 11 and 6, so trying to start up on my own would be difficult. I appreciate you writing me...I appreciate it. How many employees do you have?
That is some awesome advice, Gino. I've certainly thought about it! It does scare me because there is no other sign shop here that I could work at. Plus I am a single Dad of three kids, so I have to make sure there is always food in their bellies. It would be a lot different if it was just me.
Thats very true. We are in a small community. There are only 3 other sign shops here on the coast, but we are by far the largest. To put cost of living in perspective, 51% of my monthly pay goes to my rent.
Very true...We certainly fall in the "Miss Big Booty's" category! We certainly do not do any 6 figure large scale signs. I use a bucket truck or scaffolding for any kind of high installs, but mostly 4x8 ACM, backlits etc. I would say that would be 30 percent of the shops income. A large part...
Hahaha! I work like I own the place, I care like I own the place, jobs keep me up at night like I own the place, but Im certainly not the owner. Being an owner is a different kind of crazy than being an installer :p
I knew that'd be the first question:) But wanted this to be more of a discussion about wages, and what employers are willing to pay, and how they decide on someones wage.
Hi all.
I would like to see what an average wage is for installers out there.
Im an installer at a sign shop in a small community on the coast of British Columbia. I've been in the sign business close to 30 years. In fact, I have a plotter, that still works, and runs on Windows 95!
Over...
Hey experts! I have checked most of the typical stencil fonts I have, but dont seem to have this one...Any font ID would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Smart Film - it's super cool once it's installed, but installing it I found to be horrible!
Smart Film is an extremely thick "vinyl" that gets hooked up to a very low voltage power supply.
When no power is applied, the film looks close to frosted etched.
But once power is introduced (turn...
