No bugs at all for me. We export from X3 to a Roland 540 everyday. My guess is settings? Try publishing to PDF and not exporting.

I think Doug has it right by keeping a backup at a different location. A backup at the same location as the source in a theft situation is useless.

I liked Acronis True Image, however it could not backup network files.
