  8. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

You set the feed space in Rasterlink. This was a test with just one row.
  9. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

Notarealsignguy This worked for me. 1) Create an art board in illustrator the size you want to print. Say, 54" w x 36"h. 2) Duplicate your image to fill the art board. 3) Create your marks in AI using Finecut 4) Send to Rasterlink 5) Print as many copies that you need. Lets say 6. 6) Laminate...

Well, sumbitch. It worked! Thank you!!!
  11. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

I think I can see how this might work. Set up the file in AI with an art board the width of the media and the length you want to print, repeat the art to fill the artboard, send to rasterlink, set the mark to individual instead of whole, print multiple copies, come back and cut?
  12. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

This client know nothing. The magenta is part of the design (confirmed) I think you are right. I'll stick with 4-5' sheets.
  13. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

I didn't. These are already cut. Pic is just for reference.
  14. Mimaki/FineCut - Decrease Space Between Marks

This is a carry over from my last thread. So, I am printing some stickers in batches and coming to back to cut later (no laminate). So, 4" round stickers at about 5' per batch. When I go to cut I get the first batch to cut it's fine but on the second one it fails to find the mark. It's like the...
  15. 8k sticker order. I have questions

Well, I just did a test. One row, printed twice. When it came to cut it failed the find the mark on the second row. I'm sure it's user error LOL The offset was .5, going to try .25 and see if that helps
  16. 8k sticker order. I have questions

I get what you are saying, and I'm not saying you are wrong, but I need to learn how to properly use this thing. Contracting this one out means I know tomorrow what I know today, which isn't much :)
  17. 8k sticker order. I have questions

Thanks for the input. I am not a she but my boss would beg to differ sometimes :) We screen print t-shirts, not signage, so that's not a viable option. Also, we barely run this thing.... I'm not contracting it out :) I see that now, I missed it before. So this would print a "chunk" with reg...
  18. 8k sticker order. I have questions

We are a screen print shop that added a Mimaki CJV150-130 about 1 year ago. Our sticker orders to date have been mostly small runs of 100-300 pcs. This one is 8k x 4" round and I am wondering how I can do this in the most efficient way. It's my understanding that if I print much more than 4-5...
  19. Stupid print/cut question of the day.

Ok, I am in the process of answering my very stupid question :) Next, at what length have you found optimal for this. Would I have a hard time holding reg if I print 100' to the take up reel then come back and cut it?
  20. Stupid print/cut question of the day.

Mimaki CJV 150-130 I have a 8k sticker job (4'x4") coming up and was wondering how to eliminate as much wast as possible. Can I print roll to roll that put it back in to cut? If so, exactly how would I do that? Using Rasterlink 6 wit Finecut 9
