  1. Can Printed Vinyl go “bad” after X time (weeks/months)

Yeah of course it depends also how you storaged it! It can react to uv-radiation and to moist air. I have made the experience that it is best to apply protective laminate immediately after the paint has cured (note the information provided by the manufacturer!). Kind regards
  2. Question Will this work?

What is the purpose of the stickers? Remember that the stickers shrink after a while, depending on the material. There will be a gap where you put the two stickers together. Unfortunately, protective laminate doesn't change that either. Kind regards
  3. HP Latex 300 vs. 500 Differences

I have both printers, too and there is nothing to add here, I totally agree! Biggest point is to get a good dealer with good technicans so that you don't fall behind with an order. Kind regards, Chris
  4. Opinion Nozzle test pattern analysis (pics included)

Hi Boooooo, have you already tried flushing the printhead? It looks to me as if yellow is temporarily blocked. I would first rinse the yellow print head 2-3 times manually and test again whether it worked. With hp printers you can also fill or empty the printhead with color in the menu; this...
  5. Discussion A vendor of mine just suggested I do something like this

In germany it's the same! The market is empty you can't even get plywood "out of the shelves". We added this quote also to our jobs.

  10. Needs some suggestion for printer purchase

Hey, nice idea, a lot of potential customers "after" covid! I produce signs since 12 yrs but I'd ask you ho you want to produce the signs; digital print on vinyl ? Direct print to the sign ? If you have to produce digital prints I can suggest you the HP Latex 3xx even with a low budget. The...
  11. Which RIP software do you use ?

You are totally right, should stick with the working status quo but got told from different friends who are in the same busines that there would be less ripping time. And dont get me wrong, we are talking about seconds but the amount matters! But in my opinion the RIP software isn't responsible...
  12. Which RIP software do you use ?

Ah, i heard a lot about onyx rip, which version do you use ? I am just looking for an alternative with the same functions and possibility.
  13. hp Latex 360 Printhead problem

sure there is a method like that, I just did this morning. Possible on Latex 365 / 360, can hit it in the menue. Just thought cleaning is already done because it's the first thing to do if you have any trouble..
  14. Printing Flags on Mimaki UCJV300-160

Nah sorry, my mistake! It was meant for a flatbed printer! I print Flags, Wallfleece etc. on the HP Latex 360/365 in top quality! HP gives you a "loading help" for soft / textile material for the machines with the help of this you can load the fabric/textile without any problems
  15. Which RIP software do you use ?

Hello folks, I'm very new to this forum but I'm interested in which software you work with for ripping. I am using Caldera RIP right now because it features a lot of different possibilities and because it's easy to get a workflow despite 10 machines with matching results! thanks for your...

  17. hp Latex 360 Printhead problem

I would suggest to calibrate the new print heads first, then the problem should be gone. (settings -> image optimization -> calibrate print heads). regards
  18. Printing Flags on Mimaki UCJV300-160

To avoid jamming the printer I am using a frame made of plywood to hold the fabric straight. I can just assamble the jersey / bannertex in it and print with no problems.
  19. Printing Flags on Mimaki UCJV300-160

I would UV-print the flag and assemble the flag later. Think your printer will do the job, which printing profiles do you use ? I'd suggest doubled paint application via printer rip if you only need standard colours! Did some jobs like this with the HP Scitex FB 550, decent results!
  20. Suggestions Best mid-level flatbed printer?

I am using the HP Scitex FB550. The colours and material are cheap and you get a consistent printing quality. If you have any questions feel free to ask :-)
