I know it's probably simple. Could anyone tell me how to blend two tiles. One is black. and the other is black going to dark orange. I tried overlaying one tile, creating a marquee, then gradient from dark to dark orange, but I didn't like the results.

The roll is advancing about 12" in between tiles. Yet I have the tile setting set to about 1/4" in between tiles. Any help?

I went to print from versworks and a message came up that the printer wasn't connected. Cable is connected right, lights on back of machine is lighting up, ip address is correct. Beacon Graphics, who I bought the machine from, is never there to help me. Any suggestions?

I am ready to print my first 290" by 104" job. I'm trying to figure out how to in veraworks rip all of the tiles at the same time, yet have the xc-540 cut each tile before printing the next one. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is there a way of actually seeing the result of screening the halftone I make? I am told in the instructions that you can only see the results when printed to a post script printer. But instructions say you can convert shape to bitmap, go to color and I should be able to create screened...
