For banner material I mostly use UltraFlex Jetflex. For window perf I mostly use Clear Focus ClassicVue. There are lots of products that can give you great results, the biggest issue you will have to deal with is profiles for each material.
Without going in to the nasty details, I had a Graphtec and will never again let one in my shop. After about three months of frustration (with both the machine and the non-existent customer service) I had them buy it back and got a Summa and have had zero problems with it.
I ordered a few products to see how the quality was. They do a good job on digitizing and embroidery, but the apparel quality is horrible. Plus, they cut out the factory labels and put their own in and they don't do a good job of this step. It makes it hard to use them for products that you want...
Being from the Pacific North West I can say with out a doubt that if there is a sign project that I need help with or need to sub out I have no problem finding qualified and talented people/shops that are willing and more than able to help. How anyone in this area has a hard time finding...
When we used to have this problem with our old plotter it was an offset change in the software that we were using. Find out what the software is, that will help with figuring out how to fix the problem.
