We're new to this plugin for Acrobat and I'm still getting my head around what it can and can't do.
It can really do a lot...
One thing I just looked at is - adding bleed to objects like text for profile cutting.
It adds bleed to pages very simply but I can't see if it's possible for objects...
I knew this was coming.
With all the recent talk of climate change large companies are going to want to display their eco friendly intentions.
A fair percentage of our work is wall graphics and window markings for a major bank.
We've just had a request for "Compliance demonstrated via BEP PVC...
When a kinda new client who has been trying to beat you down on price all week, gloating how another printer can halve your prices, rings at 8pm Friday night wanting a job delivered by 9am the next morning.
Smart guy just got a lesson in the quality/price/speed matrix.
Care to share your experience with this printer?
I'm curious about:
Media compatibility.
User friendliness.
Actual sellable print speeds gloss and matte.
Double sided operation.
We are trading our Oce 360 GT for a 660 XT and need to decide whether to have 2x white or 1 white and 1 varnish in the 5th and 6th channels.
I've heard varnish can be problematic to lay down without getting spoiled by dust specks.
We don't have a dedicated closed off print room so it'll be tough...
As the title says, one of our 360s will some days take up to an hour to wake up.
Hard rebooting does nothing.
Our dealer has checked it, they replaced the HD under warranty but still does it.
Anyone else experienced this and found a solution?
I have one customer who buys a fair bit of HP PVC Free wallpaper from us.
We want to shift our wall coverings to the Epson S60600 now but the HP paper won't print in it.
A few of you people have stated you never update your Windows machines because if it ain't broke you don't fix it.
Apparently this variant of ransomware can access PCs via an unpatched Windows OS without you clicking on a link or opening an attachment. The only prevention is to keep your systems...
I'm looking at buying one or the other of these and of course am getting differing opinions from each of their sales people.
Has anyone had experience with both or even test driven each?
Which did you prefer?
I need to do it myself obviously but would like to hear opinions on software ease of...
We have the roll media option and just got in a 2m wide roll of banner and it is heavy.
Thinking of getting a Foster On A Roll lifter or similar.
Can anyone recommend something that works with Arizonas?
Don't want to spend lots of money for something that doesn't work well with our particular...
We've had this cutter for a few months now and once set up has been great.
Just lately we've had an issue where we set the pressure correctly then part way into the job it will increase the knife pressure so much it ruins the job.
Like it would cut through the backing if we didn't have the...
Anyone done large jobs d/sided on banner on a 360?
The few times I've done small jobs it worked but was a bit tedious.
Talking 10 full 50m rolls. Each banner 2m long.
We got our new S class T OposCam cutter this week and it's a beast.
It cuts fine from Winplot but I can't for the life of me get Onyx Cutserver to talk to it.
While Winplot is usable I want to set this up to cut whole rolls using barcode server.
I can plot to file in Cutserver but when I...
I've had the Summacut D160R for years now and it's been a workhorse.
Since I recently ordered an additional T series cutter I've been looking at productivity improvements for both cutters.
Until now I've been setting up print/cut jobs in Illustrator and cutting through Winplot.
This works...
