Is 6mm ACM the same rigidity as 6mm Alumalite? I'm working on a sign quote and the ACM is less expensive. I know it's a little heavier in weight. What would you use?

I am new to the sign making industry so thank you in advance for your help. I have a 5' x 10' sign (1/2" alumalite) being mounted between 2 4x4 posts. The posts will have a white veneer. Is there a product manufactured specifically for mounting alumalite in this application?
