ACM Panel on dump trailer

Going to attach a 20"x48" 3mm ACM panel to a dump trailer. Uprights on trailer span 42". I can rivet and Lexel to the uprights easy enough. Rivets are 3/16" stock car rivets, 5/8" head.

Question is do I need horizontal stringers to rivet/Lexel to? I'm thinking yes, but someone may have a better idea.

Yes. We have a client we do these for and originally used 3mm ACM. It eventually cracked from the vibration/stress. We switched to either 6mm or .080 aluminum. We use VHB, lexel and screws.

Horizontal stringers it is. I have angle iron in the shop.

Thanks for the help!
