Need Help Adhering Acrylic Letters To Backing Board

Hello all

We have come slowly into the sign industry from a digital printing background.
Mostly vinyl / comp panel signage

But we are in the process of doing our first 3D lettered sign.

We have Acrylic lettering that we had laser cut and have now painted
and an unpainted acrylic backing board that we need to attach these letters to.

The larger letters are about 200mm tall, smaller ones about 50mm tall.

My thoughts have been to use 3m VHB of some variety but will be a little tricky on the smaller letters as they are skinnier than the tape.

Any suggestions?

thanks
Luke

We use VHB tape for adhering dimensional letters. Just make sure you apply force to application and allow the right cure time.
Or TESA Tape - both adhere well.

ANY VHB family tape should be fine. just make sure you look at the specs sheet for the tape. So you know the exact curing time etc
