Wondering if anybody has been using a color profile for wall textile other than Photo-tex's own?
Here is our issue:
We are printing a large wallpaper of a mainly black and white tone photograph of an artist's painting. (60 feet x 20 feet) There are extreme dark and light areas within the image. When we tried the Photo-tex profile, what we usually use, the details disappear in the dark areas, although they are well visible on the screen. Have experimented adjusting the image, but cant really get it right without going way off with other colours / other parts of the painting.
We are printing on a Roland VS540.
Would love to hear if you had success with using another profile and what it was?
