Good morning everyone!

When assembling aluminum, which material to use for bonding?

We are assembling SignComp boxes and are trying options besides welding.

Thank-you

My favorite is PL Premium polyurethane construction adhesive. Bonds like mad to aluminum. I've even veneered with this adhesive. It all depends on how much surface area you are talking about and ulimate stress load. Veneering .060" Aluminum to plywood? - perfect for PL. T-joints of tube stock? - weld only. Post pics of application for a real assessment.

I agree with the lords adhesive. I bought 4 tubes when building a vandal resistant face frame from some aluminum angles, and man, did that stuff do the trick.

The only thing is with that you have to have the special caulk gun, at a $75 cost, but you don't have to worry about the stuff falling apart...
