Are we being lied to?

Just had a sales guy tell us that slotting an SS2 ink cartridge into a Mimaki JV-33 that's using ES3 ink won't cause any problems.

I am skeptical, to say the least.

Chips

Never tried it but the SS2 are for the JV3 and I doubt the JV33 will read the chips, maybe he was thinking SS21. I'll see what the tech manual says.

Has anyone tested the 480c on and Epson S50670 or any of those models?
