Banding on HP 360 Pls Help

Hello I currently have banding on really large prints on one side of the printer.
I changed all of my print heads and maintenance cartridge is ok.
What can be causing this?

Is it horizontal banding or vertical banding? If vertical have you cleaned the encode strip? What pass?

Are you using CMYKcm or CMYK?
If CMYKcm does the job call for high light ink usage?
If CMYKcm have you tried slowing down the printer by raising the Inter-Pass Delay or going to more passes?

As a test to remove vertical banding on 360s ypu can unhook the 3 printzone fans at the rear of scan axis. This can eliminate a type of vertical banding but it introduces a odd horizontal banding especially in the light inks.
These heater-fans are only monitored to be on..not speed nor heat and wired in series.
So..if you have a set that is not working that well you may find localised horizontal banding....in some cases.

I'd check printheads and if any have done more than about 3 litres would put new ones in.
Clean the encoder strip.
Do the "optimize print quality" thing.
