Question Best material for reusable stencil for flat and curved surfaces

We have a construction company who is in need of a reusable stencil that they can use for spray painting their company name on a variety of surfaces - flat and curved - such as road barriers, garbage cans, equipment, etc. They'd like a plastic-type of material that they could wash off if necessaary or that won't get warped after multiple coats of spray paint have been used with the stencil.

One of our suppliers recommended an 020 polystyrene material to cut the stencil from. Does anyone have experience to share here, or a recommended material we should use for this stencil?

Polystyrene is the preferred material for reusable paint stencils.

best way to cut is a flat bed.
if not available, then overlay a vinyl template, cut by hand, then peel the vinyl off

Same here.... .020 styrene. You can take it a step further and tell them to clean them off after using them and they'll last longer. Not squeaky clean, but all the big goobers.
