Got a roll of Avery 1005 EZ RS and 1360 Lam to try for a wrap because I was tired of how aggressive Orafol 3751RA is for initial tack. Anyway, did the wrap and tried to use the Yellowtools BodyGuard Knife from Fellers to slit the backer and it would not slide at all. I have used it thousands of times on different Orafol & 3M materials, but this was the first attempt with Avery. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a better tool for cutting just the backing paper?
Side note, I loved the way that the 1005 printed and installed, much easier install than the 3751RA.
