can anyone print to the edge on aluminum

I have some aluminum signs I need to get to a customer and Im duplicating some that they had made by another company but were very unhappy with customer service. they are 18"x24" 0.40 aluminum screen printed everyone I have spoken to says they cant print to the edge on aluminum. I need some help here

print it on bigger sheets then cut it to size. priddy easy to do.
Or print it on media and apply it to the aluminum and the trim the media two the edge.

Called grippers if you're talking screen printing. On a flatbed, it's a piece of cake, except you don't have the durability time frame on your side.

I've dye sublimated signs that size many times. Bleeds are no issue.

Not seeing the problem...we do this all the time. 1) print film 24.2"x18.2" 2) Laminate 3) Apply to 18"x24" blank 4)trim film from edge.
Mosh's $ step process....DOAH!!!
