We are struggling to get clean cuts using this media. We do have new blades on way... but the one in it is not very old... and this machine only cuts cast, no digital, or calendared... does anyone have any experience with this vinyl?

180 is not a cut film. If your cutting big graphics it'll work perfectly... If you're cutting small text, you're going to have issues. Medium sized text is ok... But you wont get too fine of a detail on 180. It's controltac, and very thin... especially after putting overlam on it, it makes it kind of gunky / hard to cut.

What are you trying to cut? Small text, script, something with a lot of detail? Like ikarasu said above IJ180 is not great to do small cuts with and can give you very mixed results depending on what your doing and how your doing it. If you have to do it out of IJ180, maybe try adjusting the blade depth, speed and force.
