Cutting Motocross Decals with Summa S75T

Hi,

i'm new to this forum, i'm Sven Maat a young signmaker from The Netherlands.

We are expanding our business by making motocross decals and we are printing with our Roland SP540i and bought a new cutter the Summa S75T.

But, at this moment we are struggling with the cutting. The knife hits the material on place where we don't want it. So, it scratches our nice decals.

I read some things about making a table behind or in front of it, but I can't find any pictures of it.

Or do i have to buy a Flatbed plotter? :)

With kind regards,

Sven

Also, isn't it possible at the S75T to put on some extra pinchrollers as in the Roland SP540i? Than the material should be lower to the cutting surface i think?

A flat feed path will cure a lot of your problems but a flat bed cutter will cure all inc cutting the backing as well. If you serious about it a flatbed it is.
nice plotter though.
