Cutting Sandmask

I've been doing some experimenting with sandblasting over the last year or so, and the most time consuming part for me is cutting/weeding the mask. i was wondering if anyone has ever tried to cut sandmask with a laser? does it work?

You should be able to cut the mask with no problems if you are using the correct blade and setting on your plotter.
