The new iOS12 will have a new feature for measuring objects with the camera - AR (Augmented Reality). I was wowed by watching it. If you want to see it check out at 20 minutes. I could see this being one of our top tools.

I can imagine how easy it will be to measure vehicles, get square footage, signs up on buildings without getting the ladders out for replacements.

Wow, pretty astonishing to see this in action, but I doubt it'll be accurate enough when you need precise measurements for production. Fantastic for quotes though!

Interesting. Considering that laser assisted measurements from Spike/Stanley are not accurate enough for production work this couldn't be any better. Perfect for quick quotes and permitting. I wonder how much calibration will be needed.
