I am printing on a JV33 which uses solvent ink. Since most laminated digital prints last on average 3 to 5 years I'm wondering what are the advantages and disadvantages of using a cast film versus calendered film on particular substrates like AlumaCorr, Polymetal and so on?
NOTE:Years ago I had a great relationship with a salesman with TRIM USA out of North Carolina. His name was Jay and passed away several years ago.He loved digging up answers to questions like this one. If he didn't know the answer to a question he would talk with his other customers until he found the answer.
