Need Help E074 ERROR CR2 CURRENT

My mutoh is giving me the E074 error CR 2 CURRENT....PRINTING IS SLANTED AND THEN IT STARTS FLASHING AND STOPS...ANY HELP ON THIS IS APPRECIATED. kIM

DIY Printer Fixing Guide
Slanted printing right before it gives this error is a damaged or dirty encoder strip and or bad encoder sensor. Clean the encoder strip with alcohol and if that doesn't fix the issue, I would replace the strip and be ready to replace the sensor if needed.
