Atop a tree this morning.......

(Not very clear shots due to low light, max zoom and no tri-pod).

Awesome shot. We used to have a pair down here that nested off our dock. Same nest was used by a pair of osprey when they mated. Not as good a shot as yours but I caught these guys in the backyard last week, couple of young redtail hawks. I got the bad shot of one leaving a friends house. Thought it was cool to actually catch him on the sign, wish it were a better shot but he didn't give me much time.

all we have are about 20 pigeons living on the 2-story house next door... What pests they are! They think my spa is their water fountain and sh1t all over the place.

I need to borrow one of those red tail falcons for the weekend!

I saw my first eagle on Cape Brenton. they are such a huge beautiful bird and a real thrill to see. this year, there have been eagles spotted along Lake Champlain but I haven't been lucky enough to see any of them.
