Just a shot in the dark but does anyone know of a repairman in Atlanta or surrounding area that look at a Novajet 700 60" printer for me? I would like to have this thing running asap. Thanks.

dont think youre gona find many listed as such. old tech. I HAVE A ENCAD 736...keep it running. if you got an idea of what you need fixed.......or what its not doing.....might be able to give ya some idea of how to fix it.........in fact i drove to ATLANTA... to buy it))))

QUESTION:
does it have the chinese chip that eliminates only ENCAD carts? if not that would be the 1st thing i would fix. you can order clear carts form china on ebay.

The problem I am having is replacing the carriage belt. I have about a 1/4 inch or less to get it to go around the stepper motor pulley but it just won't stretch that far. I tried unscrewing the stepper motor but still not good enough. Any tips or tricks???

Oldpaint it does not have the chip resetter yet I was thinking of getting that if the machine actually runs.
I just got it and the first thing I noticed was the old belt was shredded so I wanted to replace that first before turning it on.
