Need Help Encoder "red Light"

Service call 0110 in my sp300v new strip and new sensor but the error still there. In the new sensor the red light its missing ! All the encoder sensor use the red light or may be this one comes bad from factory?

If the light is not turning on, it is defective for sure. You can't sense something that isn't there!

Can be backward light comes on but its not working? Because the old sensor the light works but the error still there.

I would throw the old sensor back on and then run the limit position initialization. As long as that runs successfully, you should be good to go. If it doesn't work, the sensor is probably bad and you just need to find one that works. Sensors can go bad even when the light works.
