Epson pro 9800 I want to just print black.

Good afternoon!

we use this machine for just printing films and I was wondering if there was an option for just using the black ink. Because at the moment I believe when we print films it uses every single color to get that dark dark black.

We use wasatch as a rip if that helps!

Set your black color to CMYK C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100 That will print with only black ink.

I think it's called "custom ink set" in Wasatch, basically it will turn off all the channels but black. I use a different rip for the same purpose - almost, I turn off all the "light" crap
