Flexipro 8.5 is it transferable?

Hi Mutoh Printer users:

I plan to buy Mutoh Valuejet. This still brand new with someone, who has flexipro 8.5 version registered in his company name. I want to buy both as flexipro is rip software for Mutoh. Is this software transferable in my company name?
Can I use different software to run Mutoh printer Valuejet.

Your insight can save me time and money. Please Help!

i have a copy i bought (8.1) used, i never got around to transfering it. last year they told me it would be $385 and i would get a free upgrade to 8.5 or 8.6 what ever it's up to.

i'm still registered for an older copy of flexi, so i didn't bother....
