Need Help FlexiSign Pro 8.5v1 won’t authorize

Need help, my Flexi hasn’t been used for probably 12+ months, now when launching software it sends a message to the “authentication server” and sends a “request”. Error message comes back saying “unable to connect to internet, please check your internet connection...”.

Internet is fully functioning, and can pull up all internet sites!

No help from SAi Customer support even though I have been using Flexi products for 15+ years. Say Flexi 8.5v1 is no longer supported. Very willing to send us Flexi 19 at a limited discount trial offering. Nope.

Running on Windows XP and tried Windows 7, same error messages.

Anyone have a work around or suggestion?

As far as I know the registration server for that old versions (Flexi 8.5 is around 12 years old) is cancelled. So it will not work anymore.

Not 100% shure.

This happened once before and the tech I talked with provided me with a second memory stick.
I bet that had a work around that bypassed the registration server. Also betting that it too had an expiration date embedded in the coding.

Do you think that this key can be recoded?

Anyone?

The registration server is shut down permanently, as far as I know.

I´m shure that there are possibilities to recode the key, but why should SAi do that? Flexi 8.5 is outdated since 2010.

Only a suggestion ... I am running a Rolland CJ-70 that I was informed can only operate on windows XP, however with Flexi 19 I am running Windows 10 and the Flexi 19 has the drivers for my machine! My justification is that for $50CAD I can use my designing laptop at full capacity and it's costing $600 per year instead of buying it out right for $3500+ and have full tech support!
