Looks like a loose interpretation of a simple carnival or circus font. You might want to search on that if you're looking to clean it up with a real font set, as opposed to directly copying it. Definitely hand lettered. You wont find anything exact, but you can probably find something with a good look and feel.

Is this an antique Chris-Craft? If it is, you really need to talk the owner into a different font. Old wooden Chirs-Crafts are over-the-top classic and super sexy! This font just doesn't seem to do this kind of boat justice. (Yup, I'm a boat person.
