    That's a medium stroke Roman letter (serif letter).....your choice.

    The serifs on the bottom of the r and h appear to be square, not curved.


    Hmmmmm.

    An educated guess is one of the many Baskervilles. Very similar earmarks. Only problem i have is with the "c" being as closed as it appears.
