Good Photo paper allround

Hi, I would like to get into printing more pictures and canvas on my VG2. I have a good canvas and I also been printing on Pop-up smooth banner material works good but the color is more like a light grey so I don't think it pops as good as I think it could, so I would like to print on a nice roll of photo paper with a bright white but I want something a little thicker that will last. I have been looking but I dont really know what I really want on a real reasonable price. Let me know what you like and works good for a reasonable price. Thanks
