Question Graphtec

I have had a Graphtec ce6000-60 for over 2 years now. Recently, while using the machine I heard a "clunk" and what sounded like a small piece falling from inside the machine, after that the machine would not run and gave us the error code e01019. I called and emailed Graphtec about the issue. We sent in a video of what the machine does and they put us in touch with an authorized dealer/repair specialist. I've spoken to and emailed all the same things that I originally sent to Graphtec. Apparently, the carriage head slammed into the side an knocked loose a transmitter from the computer board. I have been told numerous things and so far I have had to buy an xy motor, a new computer board and the pinch roller sensor board. They have all been installed by a professional IT tech. It is still not running. I can send it to a dealer for repair, but I was told that it would cost the same as a new one. I have purchased a new one, but I need to get this one fixed. I don't care that it will void the warranty (which ran out 1 1/2 years ago). Can anyone help with this, or is there someone who can fix this without it costing a minimum of $1500.00?

Ericka, There is a small black rubber/plastic square button stop that has broken just like mine. it is a limiting device of some type, (which I haven't found what it does), except mine also made a loud bang as the carriage returned to the "finished" position to the right. Without it it will go past and hit the side of the machine. we make sure not to push past that point, so it seems to function fine otherwise.
