GS6000 ink overspray

I have a client that called in a "severe" cyan overspray problem on the GS6000.
He has cleaned around the cap and head to no avail. I will not be able to get in front of this printer for a few days and would like to help him without charging a service call. Anyone else seen this?

the head could over spray if the ink doesn't come correctly to the head or if the head is damage (scratch) due to a paper jam for example.

overspray

Have him change the wiper, then try the small piece of rag soaked with cleaning solution in the cap top for a few hours.
