GX640 tips

We just had one installed last week.

Adventurous sorts that we are, we wanted to run it at its maximum cutting speed. Not a happy experience.

Speed setting goes up to 85cm/s. At max speed however, the finished pieces however have inconsistent cut depths from one edge to the other and don't weed particularly well.
We went back to 35 cm/s and have inched our way up. Looks like the max we can go with consistent quality is about 52-53cm/s.
We cut oracal 3640 vinyl with oraguard laminate rolled on after printing.

Anybody else got any tips?

What pressure are you running cutting at 35? Mine is at inches, but to convert it. I run at 35cm at 210 gram pressure on laminated vinyl.

Works great.

On t-shirt material I run at 90 gram and 9 inches per second or 22cm.

I've never gone faster than 35cm on mine. It's starts getting wild as you mentioned.
