We are learning how to use our relatively new Roland LEJ 640 hybrid printer. When printing a full 4x8 sheet we sometimes have a series of head swipes, not hard strikes, with the passing of the head over the very exact middle of the sheet. The marks might cover an area of 6" x 8" and no more. It does go away in the second half of the print but it is a real nuisance. We have adjusted the movement of sheet to keep it flat but we are wondering if there is something we are missing. I feel sure it must be the sheet itself not being flat but I don't see what else we can do. Any suggestions?
