Heat Transfer HP Latex Fabric Prints 3000,3100

Good morning,

Is anyone on a 10 ft Latex on 881 inks printing on stretch fabric and running it thru a calendered heat press? I am looking to see if anyone is successfully doing this and if so how do true blacks and heavy solid colors react?
Anyone having success with this? Are there any bad sides to this for example cracking of the ink on the print if heated too high? We are looking to print single day use stretch fabric without any need of washing just something that doesn’t scratch or smear easily during an install. We do a lot of huge red carpet step and repeats and we are looking for a latex method instead of printing dye sub.

I have many clients who do this all day with Latex. You will need to test some of the fabrics as they do not all act the same. The ink will not crack on you. If it is short term use like you say, I would print that Latex all day!

Can you please elaborate on this? As in a special coating for the fabric?

I carry a line of Natural fiber fabrics for applications like this:https://www.pinterest.com/bigfishdm/custom-upholstery/ and https://www.pinterest.com/bigfishdm/custom-lamps/ these latex specific cottons and linens are washable if you run them through a heat press like you would dye sublimation. It does have a unique coating and can be applied to other fabrics, but it takes a large commitment of material and money to make it happen with more than the 7 we already have.

Bingo, Josh's product line along with others are designed to compete with dye sub but using Latex flexibility and outdoor/uv durability.
