How Much Do You Pay for Foils?

Just interested to know how much you pay for Gerber 45metre spot colour foils?

I was shocked at the cost of one spot colour - I won't reveal the price I paid just yet

I recently purchased a 45metre Sunflower foil from Spandex & was charged
£128.45GBP = $200.69USD or $199 Canadian.

If ever there's a way to kill off the Gerber, this is it for me.

Have you looked into third party foils? We bought a used edge about 2 years ago, and to date I have only ever bought 1 spool of gerber brand foils. For example, I pay $80 CAD for a 100 yard refill from duracoat, vs about $125 for 50 yards from gerber.

we have been using the zeronine foils for at least 6 years with no issues
i only order the gerber foil for specialty colors that zeronine doesn't have

Thanks guys for the replies. It's really interesting to see the variation in the cost of foils.

I usually buy my foils from PrintONE ut on this occasion I was in such a hurry, I went to Spandex.

Lesson learned. - I won't be using Spandex again unless i really have to.

If I purchase a gerber foil it's 105 the third party (who I bought my edge from) $50 they do not have all of the colors though
