Hey thats a great idea John!
And on the curly lights... I actually had one in the light the day before i made this video, and the light fell off the table and the light shattered. But I agree they are less likely to blow out when banged around.

It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier to just add half inch bleed, and apply with even edges...

i like to go .5" oversized on substrate with .25" bleed and trim cut substrate after vinyl is applied ... perfect edges and fast alignment

i agree that is a easy way also. but how do you quickly check to make sure all your edges are even?

.5 bleed and use your finger to align. finger is about .5 thick.

I've seen this tool before. Definitely would be a good tool to have around the shop.
