Question HP 381 ink/3m 3924 material

Have HP560 Printer using 831a ink on 3m 3924 and 3990 maerial. Priinting signs for the construction. Looking for certification for this ink on this material. Virginia requires we furnish certs for all signs. 3m and HP have been contacted with no results. HP and 3m confirm that the material is fine for this printer, but cannot furnish certs for ink and material as one item

Are you trying to prove you can print on it. Or are you trying to prove you can provide a warranty on the product. A MCS warranty will take some certification through 3M. Just find a product bulletin for 3924 and 3990 the new ones and it says they are latex printable.

Good Luck, Unless 3M stands to gain a large GOV bid requirement they wont give you certification of ink/material combos. Best you can do is provide MCS compliance, are you MCS certified.
